Tender Timed® Young Turkey Breast with Ribs

Are you hosting a smaller gathering for dinner? Don't bother with a whole turkey — just roast a turkey breast! And you don't risk overcooking the white meat to get the dark meat done. A turkey breast, cooked by itself, can be roasted to a tender, yet still juicy stage. This premium young turkey bone-in breast with ribs comes 4-8 lbs. and contains our exclusive turkey broth and seasonings. Contains no MSG and is gluten free. It features the Tender Timer® roasting gauge to help insure perfect turkey every time! Try it with our Norbest® Onion Marmalade Turkey Roast or Thanksgiving Turkey Chowder recipe.

Ingredients:

Contains up to 15% natural turkey broth and seasonings consisting of natural turkey broth, salt, sodium phosphate, and natural flavorings.

Cooking Instructions:

Remove outer netting and plastic bag from thawed turkey. Place turkey in roasting pan with TenderTimer® gauge unobstructed. Cover with lid or aluminum foil. Determine total cooking time using chart below. Remove cover during last half hour for final browning and to allow frequent checking of the timer. The center stem of the timer pops out to indicate turkey is cooked. Verify that a meat thermometer* reads 165° in the innermost part of breast. Let stand 20-30 minutes before carving. Remove timer by lifting it by its outer edge.

Approximate Cooking Times:

Conventional oven (325°F/165°C) – 30-40 minutes/lb.

Convection oven (300°F/150°C) – 25-35 minutes/lb.

*Always use a meat thermometer, never rely on appearance alone.

Storage:

Refrigerated: Hold at 28°F or less.

Frozen: Hold at 0°F or less.

Shelf Life:

Refrigerated: 21 days at 28°F.

Frozen: 12 months at 0°F.
