Hawaiian Turkey Burger
A gourmet Hawaiian Turkey Burger loaded up with grilled pineapple and teriyaki.
Hawaiian Turkey Burger Serves 4
INGREDIENTS
4 Norbest turkey burger patties
salt and pepper to taste
4 slices smoked provolone
4 slices Canadian bacon
4 telera rolls
4 oz. lite mayonnaise
4 inner leaves of green leaf lettuce
4 rings of grilled fresh pineapple
4 Tbsp. prepared teriyaki sauce

DIRECTIONS
1 ) Season the turkey burger with salt and pepper. 2 ) Cook turkey burgers by grilling, pan-frying or under the broiler until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F. 3 ) Place a slice of smoked provolone cheese on each hot burger and allow it to melt. 4 ) While the cheese melts put the Canadian bacon on the grill, in the pan or under the broiler for 30 seconds on each side. 5 ) Split the telera rolls horizontally, toast, and spread the mayo on each side. 6 ) Place the lettuce leaves on the bottom half of the roll, followed by the cooked burger with the melted Swiss cheese. 7 ) Put the grilled pineapple slice on top and drizzle with teriyaki sauce. 8 ) Top it all with the slice of Canadian bacon and top of the telera roll.
