Combine sliced red onion with lime juice, garlic, oregano, cumin and smoked paprika. Add Turkey and marinate for 1 hour. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. Add the turkey and onion marinade. Cook until turkey strips are cooked almost all the way through and the onions begin to brown Add the peppers and sauté for 1 minute. Peppers should remain crisp.
